Inspire Your Science was created in 2025 after two Analytical Chemists turned high school Lab Technicians, connected at work through the love of order and chaos. Lauren and Glaucia have a mutual passion for helping kids find themselves through investigating their curiosities in an open, playful yet ordered expression.

 

We realise this may sound very not fun. But it is! It is so fun to understand different angles on existing structures. We assure you that through our trialling and testing of every kit we have created experiences that focus on allowing children to follow the threads of curiosity they have within themselves, while not even realising they are having fun. Being lab technicians, our job is to design scientific experiments for students that must fit within a number of parameters. Things like, you cannot not use extremely harsh chemicals yet you must nonetheless demonstrate a specific concept in a clear and safe way. The instructions must be easy to understand, the quantities of chemicals must not be excessive or dangerous, risk assessments must be formalised and signed, the experiment has to actually work in the way stated in the instructions. We have a super fun time getting all these things in alignment. 

 

So keeping this in mind, and with our combined experience in a range of different laboratories, we decided to follow the thread of seeing what we could create. And here we are, hoping that we can spark individual curiosity inside minds, as well as give practical tools on how to feed that curiosity.
